Snow Reporter Comments: Monday, February 9, 2026Good Morning,It's snowing, not much accumulation but we'll take it! I'm sure everyone is wide awake and ready for the week this Monday morning. Weather today looks like it's going to be mostly overcast with maybe a flurry of snow here and there. Conditions have firmed up a little over the last couple of days with the cooler temperatures making conditions a little more challenging than earlier in the week. The best skiing and riding continues to be at Pacific Crest Chair where snow-making and grooming have kept more favorable conditions. With the firmer snow, we have decided to close Alpental for the day to do some much needed maintenance on Armstrong Express. We plan on re-opening Alpental tomorrow which hopefully brings back some memories of old powder Tuesdays. Should be a nice quiet day up here, perfect to get a bunch of quick laps in and work off that Super Bowl hangover. Have a good one and I'll see you all out there. - RyanUphill Travel UpdateUphill travel passholders can use routes at closed areas any day of the week until they reopen. Once they do, peak day and holiday blackout periods will be back in effect. You can check the website or the Summit App before you head out.Thin Cover - Use Extra CautionTake it easy out there! Coverage is still thin on the mountain. Always look ahead, moderate your speed, and watch for marked and unmarked hazards, including abrupt depressions and openings in the snowpack.
