Snow Reporter Comments: It’s the first day of spring, but it’s feeling like full-on winter up here! We’ve picked up another 5cm of fresh snow overnight, bringing our weekly total to a solid 45cm! Overnight winds have left the new snow a bit wind-affected and moved some of the existing cover around, so Patrol will be assessing avalanche hazards on the upper mountain this morning. We’re aiming to have Home Basin open by 9am, with a likely delay on the Saddle — we’ll keep you updated on progress. Winds are forecast to pick up mid-morning, so we’ll be monitoring conditions closely. There’s also a chance of more snow throughout the day — a great way to kick off the week and roll into spring!
