Lots of fresh powder. Not crazy busy. Goats Eye green run was more blue. Hard pack ice spots, lots of wind. Some really deep powder on backside green run of Standish - Borderline run, hardly touched by boards or skis. Deep. Snow a bit “squeaky”. Ha, take that how you want, but it was cold. Sun helped for awhile, but got cloudy and windy.

Smugglers' Notch Resort

Because of very bad weather and high winds, power is out Smugglers Notch Resort wide, and power is out in nearby town of Jefferson, Vermont. We are staying at resort. Hope people aren't stuck on the ski lift! Skip skiing today and stay safe. (Weather is terrible at all local resorts because of muti state weather system).

Skied two days at Wolfcreek this week. A few runs are in decent shape but the majority of the mountain is icy with quite a bit of exposed ground. They really need some more snow!
