Snow Reporter Comments: Hope is on the horizon! Clouds will roll in today as a low-pressure system makes its way into Big Cottonwood Canyon, and you might see some flurries fly by as the storm sets in. This storm is projected to bring a couple inches of fluff, with more storms later this week, so stay tuned. Expect temperatures in the low 30s with moderate winds—follow the sun for the softest snow and check your speed, especially at breakovers that can hide unseen hazards. We’ve already got love on the brain, so grab your loved ones and join us this Saturday, February 14, to celebrate chocolate at Solitude’s annual Chocolate Lovers Festival by picking up a passport at Chocolate Village outside Moonbeam Lodge, visiting chocolate stations around the mountain to sample complimentary goodies, collecting stamps, and getting entered to win great prizes.
