The Solitude Mountain Resort snow report for Dec 14 is a 17" base depth with 3 of 8 lifts open. Please note ski conditions and snowfall at Solitude Mountain Resort are sourced directly from the ski resort and are only recorded during the official ski season's opening to closing dates.
Snow Reporter Comments: Prepare for another warm one today with temperatures climbing into the low 40s. Skies will be a mix of clouds and sunshine. Overnight freezes have been crisping the mountain at night, resulting in spring-like conditions: firm snow to start the day followed by softer snow as the day progresses. Icy sections are present in heavily compacted and shady areas. Sharpen your edges and make some turns! Please check your speed and keep an eye out for other skiers and riders, especially at merge zones and breakovers. Moonbeam Express, Apex Express, Link, and the Magic Carpet are open, providing access to 7 trails and the Upper Tude Dudes Terrain Park. Due to early-season conditions, we currently have no beginner terrain accessible from Moonbeam. 12 Days of Holiday Cheer is now underway with daily holiday events through Christmas. Drop into Solitude Village to browse the Holiday Market. Pop into the Thirsty Squirrel for football!
