15 August 2026 — The Remarkables is open with cold temperatures and lightly falling snow replacing yesterday's spring conditions. The fresh weather has produced excellent grooming conditions, with on-piste skiing and riding expected to be at its best this morning. Off-trail terrain is firm and variable, so take care and stay within your ability. Periods of low visibility are expected, so low-light lenses and warm clothing are recommended.
Sugar Bowl Express, Curvey Basin Express, Shadow Basin Chair, Rua Conveyor, Tahi Conveyor and Shorty Conveyor are open. Alta Chair is closed all day and is expected to operate again tomorrow. Beginner Zone, Turquoise, Alta Green and Casterway are open, while Waterfall is closed. Race training is taking place on Alta Blue from 9am to noon.
Progression Park is open, while both Slopestyle Park lines are on hold due to visibility. Burton Stash is open.
The access road is open with chains required on all vehicles from 8 km. The snow play and sledding areas are still being prepared and are not yet available.
