Snow Reporter Comments: 6 AM- Get ready to shred through Friday the 13th like a horror movie slasher on the loose! 1 inch of wind-blown powder buffed the upper mountain overnight in preparation for your edge's craven carving desires. Strong west winds may cause extra-spooky whistling sounds in the woods as they blast between 15 and 50 mph, but the dark and foreboding cloud cover will likely prove more bluster than brawn, delivering only a passing shower or two onto the scene. Warm temperatures will keep your heart thumping through the thrills as the summit nears the 30-degree mark and the village pushes into the upper 40s. It can be unnerving when superstition and the mountains collide. But there's no need to freak. Just hop a tram to the peak and enjoy the adrenaline ride. -Lege
