Snow Reporter Comments: Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 - Good Morning Skiers and Riders! This is Caitlin with your snow report from 5am for Tuesday, March 3rd. Remember, the easiest way to get up to date information is on the Ikon Pass app or website.   It’s snowing at the Summit, and we’ve had 1 new inch of snow in the past 24 hours, which fell since the mountain closed yesterday.  Our Mid mountain base is 36 inches, the temperature is 28 degrees, winds are Calm, and it’s snowing. The Summit base is 60 inches, the temperature is 23 degrees, and the winds 14 miles per hour from the SW. The base temperature is 33 degrees.  We will be skiing and riding on 19 lifts, 166 runs, and 2,865 acres on Packed Powder snow.  Before you head up this morning, head to Cowboy Coffee located in The Range Food and Drink Hall in Steamboat Square. Grab a cup of coffee and breakfast burrito for the perfect morning fuel. Open daily at 7am. Stay in the know with the Ikon Pass App. Find it in the app store on your mobile device and get lift and trail statuses, conditions updates, and more.  If you are thinking of exploring outside the ski area boundaries, and don’t know exactly where you are going, don’t go.  Ski and Ride with Care and we will see you on the mountain!
