Snow Reporter Comments: Good Morning Skiers and Riders! This is __________ with your 5 am snow report for Thursday, December 18th. Remember the easiest way to get up to date information is on the Ikon Pass app or website.   Our Mid mountain base is 15 inches, the temperature is 12 degrees, the winds are 15 miles per hour from the west, with clear skies. The Summit base is 19 inches, the temperature is 5 degrees, the winds 21 miles per hour from the west/northwest. The base temperature is 21 degrees.  We will be skiing and riding on 12 lifts, 25 runs, and 175 acres on packed powder and machine made snow.  Night skiing is open tonight from 5:30pm-8:30pm with 4 trails and 1100 vertical feet available off Christie Peak Express. Tonight is the first Sunset Happy Hour of the season! Take the gondola up to Thunderhead Lodge and enjoy culinary bites, cocktails and live music with a beautiful view of the Yampa Valley. The Flat Tops will be playing tonight starting at 5 pm. Ikon passholders get in free, head to steamboat.com/events for more info.
