Snow Reporter Comments: Thursday, February 19th, 2026 - Good Morning Skiers and Riders! This is Caitin with your snow report from 5am for Thursday, February 19th. Remember, the easiest way to get up to date information is on the Ikon Pass app or website.   At Mid Mountain, we’ve had 3.5 new inches of snow in the past 24 hours, all falling since the mountain closed yesterday.   At the Summit, we’ve had 4 new inches of snow in the past 24 hours, all falling since the mountain closed.  Our Mid mountain base is 38 inches, the temperature is 10 degrees, the winds are 9 miles per hour from the NW, and it’s still snowing.   The Summit base is 59 inches, the temperature is zero degrees, the winds 21 miles per hour from the WNW, and the snow is still falling.   The base temperature is 15 degrees.  We will be skiing and riding on 19 lifts, 162 runs, and 2,778 acres on Packed Powder snow.  Tonight is Sunset Happy Hour, a can't miss Steamboat activity and one that will bring you back time and again. Take in the view as you ride the Steamboat Gondola to Thunderhead Lodge and enjoy culinary bites, live music, and toast to the sunset while overlooking the Yampa Valley.
