Snow Reporter Comments: Thursday, March 5th, 2026 - Good Morning Skiers and Riders! This is Eli with your snow report from 5am for Thursday, March 5th. Remember the easiest way to get up to date information is on the Ikon Pass app or website.   Our Mid mountain base is 35 inches, the temperature is 38 degrees, the winds are 12 miles per hour from the southwest, with clear skies. The Summit base is 58 inches, the temperature is 27 degrees, the winds 22 miles per hour from the south/southwest. The base temperature is 26 degrees.  We will be skiing and riding on 19 lifts, 166 runs, and 2,865 acres on Packed Powder snow. Tonight is Sunset Happy Hour, a can't miss Steamboat activity and one that will bring you back time and again. Take in the view as you ride the Steamboat Gondola to Thunderhead Lodge and enjoy culinary bites, live music, and toast to the sunset while overlooking the Yampa Valley.
