Snow Reporter Comments: Good Morning Skiers and Riders! This is Caitlin with your 5 am snow report for Monday, December 8th. Remember the easiest way to get up to date information is on the Ikon Pass app or website.   At Mid Mountain, we’ve had 2 new inches of snow in the past 24 hours, all falling since the mountain closed yesterday.   At the Summit, we’ve had 2 new inches of snow in the past 24 hours, all falling since the mountain closed yesterday.  Our Mid mountain base is 20 inches, the temperature is 21 degrees, the winds are 5 miles per hour from the WSW, and it’s snowing.   The Summit base is 24 inches, the temperature is 15 degrees, the winds are 23 miles per hour from the WSW, and it’s snowing up top. The base temperature is 23 degrees.  We will be skiing and riding on 9 lifts, 17 runs, and 136 acres on Packed Powder snow.  It’s Kids Ski Free week! From now until December 11th all children under 12 ski free at Steamboat. Grab your kiddos and take advantage of the free skiing while it lasts. Head to steamboat.com/kidsskifree for more info.
