Sadly, the clearing should be short lived as low level clouds roll in again late this evening. Daybreak tomorrow will start out cool, calm, and klaggy before winds uptick and precipitation, mostly in the form of snow, kicks back up mid-morning to late afternoon. Monday Night:Sky Cover: Cloudy to FoggyFreezing Elevation: 3000’12hr Precip: TraceWind Trends: Moderate W Tuesday: Sky Cover: Cloudy to Foggy Freezing Elevation: 3000’ rising to 4000’ 12hr Precip: 2” Wind Trends: Moderate building to Strong or Extreme at ridgelines W/SW Tuesday Night: Sky Cover: CloudyFreezing Elevation: 2,500’12hr Precip: 6-10” Wind Trends: Extreme to Strong SW/W at ridgelines Extended: Winter looks to give one last ditch effort, making up for it’s near no show this season. Coming in to the party half-cocked and after almost everyone else has gone home; strong winds, cold temps, and a decent shot of snow look to make an appearance Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. With SW flow, Tahoma might decide it was too little too late and keep the storm at bay. We’ll see how badly Winter wants to make amends. *Daily Summaries: 12hr period representing 4am-4pm or 4pm-4am data*Freezing Elevation (ft): Approximate elevation above sea level where the air temperature reaches 32 degree F*Daily Summaries: 12hr period representing 4am-4pm or 4pm-4am data*Freezing Elevation (ft): Approximate elevation above sea level where the air temperature reaches 32 degree FUphill Travel Update: See the above banner for the current status.
