Snow Reporter Comments: 2026 is off to a great start! We’ve received 13 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours, including 9 inches overnight. Another few inches are likely this morning. Some 8:00 a.m. chairlifts may be delayed as patrol conducts avalanche mitigation. Eagle Express is open for the season, serving Sunshine Bowl, Gary’s Glade, Olympia, and lower Eagle terrain. Sunrise is open to ungroomed terrain. No beginner terrain is accessible from Moonbeam Express. Apex Express and Sunrise terrain should be considered “experts only.” With the recent snowfall, we expect to bring you more terrain soon. No matter how tempting, stay out of closed areas and do not duck ropes — unseen hazards exist and you’ll lose your pass for 30 days (at all Ikon Pass resorts). More storms are blipping the radar! Grab your UDOT traction law sticker to shortcut the traffic line when the clouds unload. Have a fantastic Friday on the hill!
