Snow Reporter Comments: Holiday fun continues at Solitude! The second wave of our double hitter storm moves into the mountains today. 1 to 3 inches of new snow is expected while lifts are spinning. Another 6-10 inches are on tap for tonight. A DJ will be spinning outside Moonbeam Lodge Friday through Sunday as we welcome the snow. Winds will be active throughout the day, especially at the top of Apex Express. Temperatures have dropped following yesterday’s warm, wet weather, so expect firm conditions underfoot. Please be aware of other skiers and riders and check your speed! Due to early season conditions, there is no beginner terrain accessible from Moonbeam Express. Fleet Street is the only route down from Apex Express and should be considered “experts only.” Looking for another great way to experience Solitude? Our first Nordic Nights of the season takes place Saturday.
