A quick, 35-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, Park City Mountain Resort is home to an impressive 7,300 skiable acres. The ski resort earned the title of most lift-served terrain in the U.S. after the largest resort improvement project in the history of American skiing, totaling more than $50 million, linked it with neighbor Canyons Resort during the summer of 2015. 

With base and summit elevations at 6,800 ft. and 10,000 ft., this massive mountain boasts 347 trails, close to half of which are suited for intermediate skiers and riders. Park City also offers up plenty of advanced and expert terrain, along with 14 bowls, eight terrain parks, six natural half pipes, one super pipe and one mini pipe. 

With three distinct base areas, diverse ski-in/ski-out and village adjacent hotels and lodging properties, Park City is a world-class destination. Outside of skiing, activities include the flying eagle zip, alpine coaster, Viking Yurt dinner, sleigh rides, snowshoe and snowmobile tours. 

The ski resort is situated at the center of the historic and idyllic town of Park City, Utah with access to award-winning restaurants within walking distance or accessible via the city's free transportation system. If you come in January during the Sundance Film Festival for which Park City is known, you might just find yourself rubbing elbows with celebrities out on the town.

The mountain itself is broad and steep, and offers some of the most varied terrain in the Wasatch Range. Beginners do not despair, as there is an area located just for those learning to make carved turns. Whether you are looking for long and gentle groomers, big and bold powder lines, or steep and deep in the glades, there is terrain for skiers and riders of all levels and abilities.

The Farm

Cuisine: New American

This recent addition to the resort features an innovative menu that focuses on ingredients sourced from local farms and artisan purveyors. Located in the heart of Canyons Village and overlooking the Ski Beach, The Farm was named one of "Utah's 25 Best Restaurants" in 2015.” This rustic, yet refined restaurant offers both indoor outdoor dining and features a welcoming lounge with an amazing selection of wines. 


Cuisine: Modern American Kosher
For guests seeking out traditional bistro fare, this Paris-style spot is the first restaurant of its kind in North America serving modern American kosher cuisine at a ski resort. Try: Beef cheek gnocchi with roasted root vegetables and oven-dried tomatoes. 

Red Tail Grill

Cuisine: Mountainside Gastropub

Offering amazing views of the mountain and located on the Ski Beach in the Resort Village, Red Tail Grill features an innovative gastropub menu served in a rustic setting. This is the perfect gathering spot for family-friendly dining and with its outdoor deck on the Ski Beach and Canyons Golf. Featuring local, sustainable, products from: Wasatch Meats, Stone Ground Bakery and Gold Creek Farms. 

Cloud Dine

Cuisine: Fresh American

Located on Dream Peak, this ski-in, ski-out restaurant offers guests an entirely new concept in on-mountain dining. Its innovative, made-to-order menu features a combination of uniquely healthy and traditionally hearty selections to keep you fueled for a full day on the mountain. 

Lookout Cabin

Cuisine: American Gourmet

Located off the mid-station of the Orange Bubble Express and the top of Short Cut lift, Lookout Cabin is known for its impeccable table-served Rocky Mountain cuisine and incredible views of the Wasatch Range.

Legends Bar and Grill

Cuisine: American Casual

Legends Bar & Grill is the place to après ski after your day on the slopes. Come in and enjoy the legendary food and a tasty beverage while you recount the day’s adventures. If you’re looking for a sit down lunch or dinner, Legends offers a great full service menu. 

Miners Camp

Cuisine: Fresh American

The new for 2015/2016 Miners Camp restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a cozy lunch and watch the action. The menu offers homemade soups and chili, fresh tossed artisan salads and Mediterranean kabobs and gyros. This brand new mountain Restaurant will have 500 indoor seats, large deck and state of the art food servery. Miners Camp will be located at the base of the Silverlode lift and the brand new Quicksilver gondola. 

Summit House

Cuisine: Fresh American

The Summit House is the on-mountain spot to get a tasty slice of pizza, our famous bison chili or a fresh mixed salad from an updated food servery area.  You can easily access the Summit House from 5 different chairlifts - so no matter where you’re coming from or what trail you're skiing next, the Summit House is most likely on your way.  

Red Pine Lodge

Cuisine: Fresh American

A perfect location to relax or grab a quick bite and continue on your winter adventure or just warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie. Come and sample all of your favorites. New for 2015/2016: Increased Dining Capacity with ~250 additional indoor seats.


Cuisine: Family-friendly communal dining

Communal setting offers a fast and fresh offering for guests looking for a relaxed ski dining experience. From coffees and cocoas to salads and grinders, Murdock’s focuses on crowd pleasing favorites including specialty pizzas, salads and sandwiches. 

Jupiter Java

Start your mountain morning with a warm cup of fresh roasted coffee, rich hot chocolate or an herbal tea. Jupiter Java also features homemade breads, fresh baked pastries and for a quick afternoon bite, gourmet sandwiches, assorted salads and cookies 

Legacy Café

Located at the base area of Park City Village, the whole family can meet up at Legacy Café where the options are endless. Whether it's our plentiful salad bar and grill, our signature house cut French fries, or one of our daily specials - your appetite is sure to be satisfied. 

Umbrella Bar

Cuisine: New American

This classic après ski spot in the Resort Village offers 360 degree views from its unique glass enclosure and a massive outdoor deck with a perfect view of the village music stage. Along with a menu that features signature burgers, there’s also an extensive beer selection.

Originally known as Treasure Mountains Resort, Park City Mountain Resort has been operating since 1963. The last surviving mining company in Park City turned to skiing with help from a federal loan to revive the economically depressed area. The mining company built a gondola, base and summit lodges, chairlifts and a nine-hole golf course.

In 1965 skiers would hop aboard the Skier’s Subway, a modified mining trolley that traveled two and a half miles through the pitch black Spiro Tunnel to Thayne’s Hoist. Then skiers would board the mine elevator and be lifted 1,750 feet to the surface.
