New York Ski Resorts

The state of New York is home to the most ski areas in the entire United States. The Empire State provides a variety of terrain from the high peaks of the Adirondacks to the rolling hills of the Catskills.


Gore Mountain, located in North Creek, offers the most skiable acres of any other resort in the state. Whiteface Lake Placid boasts the highest peak summit of any ski resort in the entire Eastern United States at 4,867 feet and was home to the 1980 Winter Olympic games.
