Reviews

Chad Nelson

Their chalet is cramped and it's in very poor condition. They need to rebuild that chalet soon, and the chairlifts here are noticeably slower than the lifts at other resorts. However, with that being said, I like coming here for a few reasons. This resort has two runs that are significantly steeper than any other resort in the metro (except for Welch). I also like how, when compared to Afton Alps, this resort doesn't get too terribly busy on the weekends. At Afton, it's almost unbearable on the weekends because all of their runs become very crowded and the lines for the chairlifts can be extreme. At Wild, the black diamonds are almost never crowded, and the chairlift lines aren't too bad. Though, the easier runs here can get very crowded at times, especially Sunshine. Lastly, the prices here are noticeably cheaper than at Afton Alps, and that's another big reason why I continue to come here.
