Snow Reporter Comments: 6 AM—Get on up, Jackson. Don't waste time with rational contemplation because winter is making a welcome return for your recreational gratification. The uppermost elevations squeezed 3 sneaky inches out of the atmosphere last night, and intermittent showers should continue through the morning. By this afternoon another more promising wave of snowfall will wash over the Tetons, so come out and watch the crystal tide rise. High temperatures will also make a seasonal reprise as the summit of Rendezvous stalls out in the upper teens and the Village hovers near the freezing point. The fresh flakes will be delivered on the wings of west winds in the neighborhood of 5 to 20 mph. Whether you're tantalized by dreams profound or pint-sized, a little falling snow helps make them easily realized. -Lege
