Yesterday was great for groomers, later in the day off groom softened up a little and was very fun.

It’s a dirty slush pit out there. Anything off the groomers is nearly impossible to ski. The groomers are like big Slurpee‘s with occasional open holes with water below. None of the top of the mountain is open. Apparently there’s not much good weather in the forecast.

Wed night: Lots o' snow since Sunday visit. When the sun went down, more snow started to fly, freshies each time off the lift. Felt like new 1/2" every run. No lift lines to speak of. Plenty of hootin' and hollering on the way down. Backside, 7th Heaven, Tye Mill all closed.

It was mostly good but the coverage was not too good. At least they got about 5” the day before, but got skied out.

Snowing all night and short lines made for the best night skiing so far this season. Stayed around 30F

The warm temperatures melted the grooming overnight in most places so it was thick snow, not quite slushy. By 11am it was 43F. Rather disappointed that they closed half of skyline for a race camp. That closure meant you could not easily ski from SwineSpine down Hog Heaven. And the backside was close...

Started off foggy but by 1030am it began to lift. Backside wasn't as foggy as Skyline which is unusual. Snow wasn't icy but packed. Only a few small icy spots on piste. There were lots of small things poking up or laying in the snow so you had to be careful. No lines at all today but it was chilly (...
