Snow Reporter Comments: Welcome to the weekend! Another atmospheric river has arrived. We picked up 4 inches of wet snow on our midmountain stake last night, with another couple inches expected today. Ski what Mother Nature delivered by riding The Earliest Lifts in Utah: Moonbeam Express, Apex Express, Link, and the Magic Carpet now load at 8:00 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Conditions on the hill are variable – cruise morning cord, seek out soft spots, and work your edges in the firm sections. Please check your speed and keep a safe distance from other skiers and riders. Due to early season conditions, there is no beginner terrain accessible from Moonbeam. Fleet Street is the only route down from Apex and should be considered “experts only.” The Grinch returns to Solitude today after 25 years! We'll be screening The Grinch movie (parts of which were filmed at Solitude) all day long at Last Chance Lodge. You can also Ride with the Grinch tomorrow.
