Snow Reporter Comments: Our cold snap ends today with temperatures climbing into the mid-30s under cloudy skies. Enjoy the calm weather along with great skiing and riding. Recent storms have added 60 inches of new snow to the mountain in the last 10 days, allowing us to open most of our frontside terrain as well as Summit Express. Summit Access West is expected to open this morning, providing access to Summit Express from the top of Apex Express. Our patrol is working hard to bring you even more terrain. Powderhorn Cirque is expected to open today, and there could be an exciting gate opening or two coming your way as well. Keep an eye on the Ikon Pass app to learn when trails open. Do not duck ropes into closed areas — hazards exist in closed terrain, and you’ll lose your pass for 30 days at all Ikon Pass resorts. The mountain isn’t the only place to have fun at Solitude — a live DJ will be spinning on the Moonbeam Patio from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and we’ll have football playing at The Thirsty Squirrel all day long. Have a great Sunday at Solitude!
