Had a great visit. Tons of powder and decently short lift lines. On a side note, Snowboarders would hate Alta. It has tons of traverses and is made for poles and skis. Lots of pushing and side stepping.

Old school. It's their identity. The way the lifts are positioned, with all of the traverses and sidesteps, it wouldn't be any good for riders anyway.

Lots of cruise blues, machine groomed, crusty off piste, short queues. Glorious blue sky day, clocked up some mileage today.

How is the snow? Is it worth driving up for the weekend or is all the powder skied out?
