Not family-friendly. outdated. Canyon road is dangerous and hard to travel and is closed very often in the winter. Very expensive. Requires lots of long traversing to get to diffrent areas, time that could be spent skiing. The parking is competitive and restrictions on occupants in vehicles during peak times. Requires 4wd or chains when it is snowing a good amount. there a far better options in slc area for just about any visitor. ... Full Review

My favorite place to ski in the world, but not on weekends. Great snow conditions andwide variety of terrain. We have a time share, so don't need to deal with the traffic issue. Only real downside for us is we have had multiple issues with lift ticket staff and they are not very helpful or polite. our experiences with the lift staff has been great. ... Full Review

Charging $65 for. 5 year old is simply ridiculous. No other resort I know does this. If you have a family and kids go to Snowbird (under 6 are free). Alta seem to moving to the rip off ski resort tactics - very sad ... Full Review
