Busy but good snow. Coverage is decent after these recent storms but good lines get skied out quick. 10-15 min waits on Collins but 5 in singles line. They’re also making snow across the mountain since the recent storms had high water content.

Significant new snow (15” overnight, with more accumulation). Lift openings delayed until about noon. Slopes are in great shape but large areas off piste are still roped off for avvy patrol.

Collins and Wildcat down due to exposed power lines in Collins. Brutal lift lines.

Sunny yesterday to mix of rain/snow/pellets. It is supposed to continue to dump. Kids happy skiing! Happy new year!

Skied on the 23 and skiing again today the 26. Out of all the surrounding mountains Alta had the “best” snow coverage however, be prepared to be taking lots of groomers and easy runs!

the snow isnt too great today but highly recommend hiking up to catherines for some freshies. collins is really thin and icy but the manmade on sugarloaf isnt bad

Opening day at Alta was just awful. Only two lifts open and two trails. Hour waits in the morning diminishing somewhat, but still long waits into the early afternoon. Oddly, they had about 20 inches of snow here in the last few days so there was really no reason not to open more trails and lifts ot...
