Snow Reporter Comments: Gooooood morning Boyne Mountain! It's Kyler, with today's snow report.Lots of wintry weather ahead! And it's already coming down like crazy. Let's get into it.Today: Snow and blowing snow are moving across northern Michigan with bursts of heavy snow falling at 1-2" per hour combined with wind gusts of 30-45+ mph. Snow tapers this evening into tonight. We are expecting 6-8 inches from this first round.If you're heading to the mountain today, be prepared for rapidly changing conditions and reduced visibility. Give yourself extra time and watch for blowing and drifting snow.Late Season Winter Storm: Saturday Night Through MondayThis is where is gets juicy: A late season winter storm has its sights set on us. There is some serious potential for us to see 12-24"+ of snow. Uncertainty still exists with regards to specific amounts and the location of where these highest amounts fall.A brief break in winter weather is expected tomorrow, then the main event moves in Saturday night through Monday.
