Located about 80 miles north of Montreal, Mont Tremblant provides visitors with magnificent panoramic views of the Laurentians Mountains. The resort is a great destination for families, and it provides activities other than just skiing and snowboarding.
Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City (TVC) is about an hour from the ski resort. For private pilots, the Antrim County Airport (ACB) is an option, being four miles from Shanty Creek. There are free shuttle services between the three villages.

The summit elevation is 1,125, and the base elevation is 675 feet. The Shanty Creek Resort features five terrain parks, cross-country skiing (three kilometers of groomed trails) and snowshoeing.
Childcare is available at The Lodge for children ages 3 months to 5 years. Fat tire biking rentals are available, or you can take a dogsled ride. Summer activities include golfing, biking, wineries, brewery tours, beaches and more. Equipment rental and lessons are available. Schuss Mountain allows you to ski on a bridge and through a tunnel to get to the chairlift. The Skibra (shuttle with zebra stripes) transports beginners from the parking lot to the beginner slopes.
