Snow Reporter Comments: 01/15 AM Update: Feeling a bit down by the gloomy weather in town?  Why not head up the mountain, rise above the clouds, and soak in some vitamin D?  We've got sun shining for days up here!  It sure feels like we're in a spring-like pattern -- which is the cause for some soft, forgiving snow that sure is a joy to ride.  There's a high-pressure dome parked right over the top of us, and it's going to stick around through the weekend and into next week.  If you're craving more snow, fear not -- this system will move on and usher in our next batch of storms.  For now, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts; get out there and rip some fresh corduroy, or why not try some cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.  There's plenty to do, make the most of these days. -- Snowvangelist ScottUnfortunately, due to warm temps and receding snow at the lower elevations, Stella and the Outback are closed. If all goes well, we will be able to reopen Friday. As always, keep an eye on our Mountain Report page of our website for any operational updates. January is National Ski Safety Month: You can never be too safe on the slopes! We are encouraging all guests to remember and abide by the Triangle of Safety. Always be aware of yourself, your speed, and your space. Be sure to give other skiers and riders 15 feet of space when you're out riding. Important Reminder: Ski Patrol is asking everyone to please respect all ropes and closures.  Duck a rope, lose your pass. Now is a good time to brush up on your winter Safety tips and reminder yourself about the Skiers Responsibility Code.  Have fun and stay safe out there. What's going on this week?Check out the Events Page and This Week at Schweitzer for all latest happenings.
