The high speed chair is a game changer and a quick pace to the top. I have never thought that it was ever too crowded. The food is phenomenal (new food and beverage manager is killing it) and people are really helpful and kind. The prices are great as well! There will be a new lodge coming and is sorely needed to expand and update the departments. Tons of classes, you can't get bored. There is day care, lessons, a Nordic center, a (less used) alternative lift/parking spots on the Cy's side, awesome retail (which has an awesome variety of waterproof items) which I think you get what you pay for -they have mid range and up -so NO crappy/useless stuff in there, rental equipment is brand new! If you want a simply good time this is your place, it really is a hidden gem (almost like that favorite fishing spot you hesitate to tell others about)
