49 Degrees North, a hidden giant of the Northwest, boasts more than 2,300 acres of lift-accessed terrain with 3 basins, 2 peaks, 7 lifts, 90 marked trails, 1,871' of vertical, and multiple terrain parks. It receives an average annual snowfall of over 300", plus features snowmaking. It also happens to be the home of the longest high-speed lift in Washington State. The 1.25-mile ride from base area to summit takes just 7 minutes. Cross-country skiers can get in on the action at the Nordic Center, with more than 13 kilometers (8 miles) of trails, which are also available to explore on snowshoes or fat tire bikes.  Getting to 49 Degrees North The nearest major airport is Spokane International, which is served by most major airlines, including Alaska, American, Delta, Southwest, and United. It's just over an hour to 49 Degrees North from Spokane. Driving to 49 Degrees from the Tri-Cities area is about 3.5 hours, while it's 4 hours from Missoula, and just over 5 hours from Seattle.
