Ski Portillo - Beautiful but not enough snow

Ski Portillo - Just like the last reviewer, I too, wanted to like this place. The food and service are superb, the ski instructors world class. Sadly, they are badly in need of fresh snow with none in sight. Skiing off-piste is painful on the crusty faces and not really worth it until the snow softens in the sun. I wouldn't come back unless I knew they had meters of new snow,

Ski Portillo - Top of roca Jack is bulletproof. Sunny most the morning and then the clouds rolled in thick. Pray for snow.

Ski Portillo - Icy the week I was there, some sweet hiking terrain but not many runs. The hotel staff was great and very family oriented.
