Overview

Skiers and riders have been enjoying Mt. La Crosse since 1959. It has one of Wisconsin's longest ski runs in Mileaway, and one of Mid-America's steepest trail in Damnation. The 512-foot vertical is big for the Badger State. This is as close to Vermont's famed Stowe ski area as you'll find in the heartland. There's a wide range of skiing and riding, and the St. Bernard Bar is always a favorite watering hole for apres ski.
No on-slope lodging. Several hotels within a 10-mile radius offer packages. Over 2,000 rooms in the La Crosse area.
