Skiers and riders have been enjoying Mt. La Crosse since 1959. It has one of Wisconsin's longest ski runs in Mileaway, and one of Mid-America's steepest trail in Damnation. The 512-foot vertical is big for the Badger State. This is as close to Vermont's famed Stowe ski area as you'll find in the heartland. There's a wide range of skiing and riding, and the St. Bernard Bar is always a favorite watering hole for apres ski.

This place has been around since the 50's. Its best feature is the old chalet and tavern. The hill is steep but the runs very short. It has 2 old wooden chair lifts and a rope toe.
