Absolutely nuking all day. Chunky powder everywhere. Best runs are at low elevation trees. Finally!

March 1. Rain on Saturday evening at the bottom areas created icy crust layer, most noticeable on the lower areas. Areas in sun are slushy as temperatures are warm. Good skiing may be found. Good conditions on Little Cloud, Peruvian and Gad 2. Hopefully the forecasted 9” or so on Tuesday will arrive...

Beautiful blue sky skiing on Monday. Good snow coverage on most peaks. The snow ranges from crusty in areas to soft moguls in others. Variable by the amount of sun a trail is getting and time of day.

Mineral Basin - powder stashes to be had but 15-20 minute lift line

Spent the last five days at the bird. Snow was crunchy in the mornings and softened up as the day went on. Groomers were nice and off piste terrain was hit/miss. If you’re willing to hunt for it, great lines can still be found. Given the lack of snow, still great coverage and lots of fun to be had.

Groomed areas are ok. Off-piste areas are hard and icy. All lofts open.
