The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) operates a ski bus route from Salt Lake Valley to Alta, with stops in Midvale and Sandy for those staying off-mountain. Want to avoid lift lines? Ski Wildcat between 1 PM and 3 PM. Most skiers shift to Supreme or Sugarloaf during this window, leaving Wildcat&rsquo;s steep tree runs and bowls wide open. The terrain here is advanced, but the payoff is fresh snow and uninterrupted laps.
