My family bought season passes for Soda Springs and had a great year. ~$400 total for 4 season passes with no blackout dates. You would spend all that and more on one day at Squaw. The kids love the place as do mom and dad. There are only 2 lifts. The green circle lift is a bit more crowded. By crowded I mean you might be 6th in line to jump on the lift. However, if your kids have graduated to blue squares and black diamonds head to the other lift and you will never wait in line. The runs are short and a bit on the easy side, but still great fun. I have snowboarded for 20 years and still have fun here. One very nice upside to it being an easier resort is that on powder days you can cut fresh lines all day. Not like the big resorts where by 10am all the powder is cut up.
