Silverton was rated the num. 1 small ski area.
Silverton is an advanced-only ski area, with just 1 lift, but 1,819 acres of skiable terrain. It’s the highest ski area in North America with a peak of 13,487 feet, and Colorado’s steepest heli & lift-served skiing, and comprised of completely natural terrain featuring bowls, chutes, cliffs and more. Silverton is for the most adventurous, advanced skiers and riders.
