After a full day of racking up vertical and ripping through fresh powder, there’s no better way to wrap up your day than by kicking back with a cold drink and good vibes at a unique bar. What’s even better? An establishment that you can ski or snowboard directly to, and across the U.S., there are plenty of aprés-ski bars that provide just that, from rustic cabins to sun-drenched patios. Explore our list of some of the best ski-in, ski-out bars in the U.S.

America’s Best Ski-in, Ski-out Après-Ski Bars

TBar, Breckenridge, Colorado

Located at the base of Breckenridge’s Peak 8 Lift, TBar we named one of the best aprés-ski bars in the U.S. It has all the makings of an unforgettable après-ski bar—an amazing patio, a good craft beer selection, great cocktails, shareable apps, and amazing view like glazed pork belly sliders, gold standard wings, and the T-Bar tacos. To quench your thirst, try the classic T-Bar Bloody Mary or the more indulgent Colorado Toast Crunch, a sweet, decadent cocktail made with Fireball, RumChata, hot cocoa, and whipped cream. TBar also has a rotating set of DJs that perform on select weekends throughout the season.

High West Saloon, Park City, Utah

While there are a number of great ski-in, ski-out bars around the country, there’s only one ski-in, ski-out distillery, and that’s High West Saloon in Park City. Steps away from Park City Mountain Resort’s Town Lift, High West has been a staple for visitors and locals alike since 2006. Unwind with a whiskey flight, one of their handcrafted seasonal cocktails, or a classic Old Fashioned, then purchase a bottle of your favorite spirits to take home from the store near the exit. It also offers plenty of hearty bites, including double rye turkey pot pie, schnitzel, burgers, salads, wagyu pastrami poutine, elk meatballs, and more. Next door to the saloon is Nelson Cottage, a restaurant that provides an upscale and unique dining experience while showcasing High West’s whiskeys.

If you’re looking to take a break from the slopes, you can head to another of High West’s locations in Wanship, which is just 16 miles away, and learn about Utah’s lesser-known whiskey history. Regardless of the High West experience you choose, you’ll be getting a unique taste of Utah.

Phlox Point Cabin, Timberline, Oregon

What’s better than a ski-in, ski-out lodge? A ski-in, ski-out taco cabin on the slopes of Mt. Hood. Timberline’s Phlox Point Cabin is an old-school, mid-mountain warming hut that was transformed in 2016 into a mid-run stop for skiers and riders. Serving a small menu of cocktails, tacos, and beer, the Phlox Point Cabin has everything you need for a quick bite and drink before getting back to shredding. It’s located on the left side of the Walt’s Baby trail and accessible by skiing down West Leg Road.
