Spent about 3 days here. Most trails open. Conditions: When sunny and warm, snow is soft and only truly slushy at the bottom base area where it’s extremely tracked. Otherwise, it’s pretty good. Just went from rain to snow this morning, and the snow started to pile up. Though the snow base was icy, the fresh snow on top really helped and made for some awesome powder-like conditions. Wind wasn’t too bad either, and crowds were nearly nonexistent on all the days. Coverage: Coverage is definitely thinning but you can definitely still ski it fine in most areas.

Excellent conditions, impeccable attention to detail & efficiency. We were just so impressed with how well everything was here, considering the warming temps. Will be back!!

Great spring conditions today, with soft snow throughout the mountain. No ice to be found on any trails, though the Front 5 were the firmest trails on the mountain. The glades were ok, with the coverage still being good but the snow being a bit sticky in the lower elevations. Most of the mountain was still open despite the warmer temperatures. It was a stellar day out there, get there before the cold comes back in this weekend!

Fun Saturday. 3" fresh stayed soft on most runs all day. Arrive by 845 for main lot. Ski rental took 60 minutes for my buddy. Rocket lift line was about 10-15 minutes between 10a-2p. Other lifts were 5 min max all day. Lunch line was about 15 minutes at 130p. Photo shows Rocket lift at 330p. Still a fun day!

Great day until we came down to have lunch and our belongings were confiscated. We stowed them under a bench seat outside. We eventually got our belongings back but for the life of me can’t understand why you can’t have stuff outside, plus the sign had no warning on confiscation.

Another stellar day out there, with another inch of snow falling from squalls throughout the day. Almost everything is open and wind was minimal, meaning the whole mountain was available to explore. Mittersill still has tons of untracked powder to play in. Groomers on the main mountain were great the whole day, with minimal ice even on trails that usually get scraped off. With more snow coming soon, now is the time to get here.

Glades are open and epic, busy for a Wed as traffic backed up into town and furthest lot parking away with bus shuttle by 9:30am arrival. Lift lines averaged 30min.

Powder day today! About 8-10" of fluff across the mountain with tons of glades opening up throughout the day. The Front 5 area retained powder the best and I would go there to hit any remaining powder stashes later in the week. Mittersill was also left with a lot of powder to be found on both trails and glades. Wind was not bad either, so I doubt much of the snow will be wind blown. The exception was the summit, especially on the skiers left side getting off the chair. Wind blew most snow off there, but the two summit glades definitely had the goods. Glad to see more snow on the way this weekend!

The recent snow helped them out and got some more terrain open. Pretty long line for the summit triple in the morning, but it cleared out after lunch. Bear Peak was very nice, with the trails that were open having packed powder on top and hard pack underneath the fresh snow. Blasting snow on a few runs throughout the day too. Overall worth a stop if you have a pass, otherwise wait until later in the season for more to open up!

Packed powder for most of the mountain with some ice patches on the more trafficked trails. Some small powder stashes can be found throughout the mountain though, with lots of snowmaking whales. Front 5 were especially icy, but still skiable. Definitely looks like they will be getting more open soon with the mount of snowmaking going on. Overall the typical mid January day out on the mountain!

I skied today and the snow was really great. The runs that they do have opened are covered really well, I was really impressed. Do be prepared to warm up in your car. At least at Spruce Lodge, they were only letting people in to use the bathroom and then leave quickly, on a one-way route. I think they are taking reservations for the Pub upstairs, but I bet they are very hard to get. I recommend coming on a weekday if at all possible, it was great!

Outstanding day at Sunapee today. Delightful packed powdah conditions and not a square inch of ice in sight. No crowds, Blastoff and Chipmunk were heavenly and the staff is cognizant and enforced health protocols. The cloud banks below the halfway point in the mountain provided for jaw dropping scenery.

First time here. Soft snow still here from Thursday storm. Groomed runs were fun. Ungroomed runs were a bit scratchy but skiable. Arrived at 830a sunday and got a good parking spot near the lodge. Minimal lift lines and safe distancing due to limited sales. No food service in lodge bc cash registers broken and same day ticket sales line looked really long. Looking forward to skiing here again.

The recent storm really helped them out! The whole Front 5 area is open and well covered with some huge whalebacks to play on. The upper mountain is mostly open, with trails mostly packed powder there. Mid to lower mountain got icy as the day went on, especially on Bypass and Extension. There were still some powder pockets to be found, especially along the Front 5! Overall great early season conditions

Upper mountain is pretty decent considering the time of year. Lower mountain has a few dirt spots showing through but most can be avoided. Glad I waited to break out the new skis but still had a great day.
