Snow Reporter Comments: Good morning, and Happy Easter from all of us at Loon. While today's weather is not looking ideal, we're still skiing and riding on over 225 acres of terrain with six lifts spinning to get you on the slopes. First chair loads at 8:00am.Rain showers are expected to continue throughout the day, and foggy conditions are likely throughout the morning. Temperatures dipped below freezing overnight, conditions will start off firm at higher elevations before softening up as the day goes on.Due to the overnight weather, the Grooming team did not make passes on a few trails, including Upper Walking Boss, Harder Way, and Dropline.Today is the final day to ski and ride in the West Basin. Catch your last laps of the season on the Kancamagus 8, Sarsaparilla Carpet, and Kissin' Cousin Double before it's too late. All skier services will be available at only the Octagon Lodge starting on Monday, April 6.Stay dry, and have a great day on the slopes. We'll see you out there.West Basin OperationsSunday is the final day of operations in the West Basin. Catch your last laps of the year on Kissin' Cousin Double, the Sarsaparilla Carpet, and the Kancamagus 8. All lifts, lodges, and terrain will close for the season at the end of the day on Sunday.Terrain ParksParks are still firing and spring laps are in full effect. For all your jumping and jibbing needs, Loon Mountain Park is open and dialed with 20 jibs and 9 jumps.
