Snow Reporter Comments: Good morning! Spring's doing its thing today with another round of light snowfall on the slopes. We're doing our thing too and turning the lifts as the snow swirls around. The chair are going round and round the bullwheel. Come hop on them for some late-season turns... it's your last chance for a few days – we're closed Monday through Thursday this week, and then we'll be back Friday through Sunday for the first May turns of the year. For today, we expect on and off snow flurries and a stiff, steady breeze. That wind will probably be enough to knock Vista and Cascade out of the picture. We were surprised by less wind than expected yesterday and ran them, but today's forecast looks less promising. HRM is not open today; come on up to the main parking lot. We do have a few discounted Suits and Boots tickets left for today. There aren't any associated events, but a portion of the proceeds will go to Citizen's Climate Lobby. Looking at next week: we're closed Monday through Thursday. Uphill travel and hiking will be allowed Monday through Wednesday. There's no patrol assistance, no hazard marking, and we ask you to stay away from terrain parks, the Pond Skim build area, and other active work areas. No sledding. In other words, you're on your own. We encourage you to hike elsewhere – there's lots of great BC skiing around – but we will permit it for those three days next week. Have a wonderful day on the slopes today. Have a great week in the valley. We'll see you next Friday for May skiing!
