Definition of a good time: a couple of days skiing Schweitzer's long groomers. with more than two feet of new snow, we have no complaints. Add to that glade runs, steeps, and a beautiful view over Lake Pende Orville, we count ourselves lucky to enjoy New Year's weekend in northern Idaho!

Spring skiing ain't bad @ Schweitzer. Precip stopped by lunch. Firm up top, even a little fluff, but softer as you go lower. Variable conditions. Gnarly skiiable crud under Lakeview triple. Perfect day to rip some groomerz. Elbows rubbin' the cord. Amen.

It's a slush day today. Wind is blowing about 15mph. Supposed to get worse. Visibility not good at all at the moment and doesn't look to be letting up. If the vis was better it'd be fine.
