Snow Reporter Comments

We had a pretty fun day out on the mountain today. The 6" of new snow in the last 24 hours made playing off the Lakeview Triple super fun. There's more in the forecast for tonight so fingers crossed Community Day ends up being a powder day!

In light of the new snow and the $10 lift ticket day for our local charities, we will be starting the day with expanded terrain by opening the Great Escape Quad and Musical Chairs. We are also pleased to announce that the new Colburn Triple chair will be open to the public during the mid-morning hours. "We expect that with more snowfall we'll be able to ski & ride in the North Bowl soon," says CEO Tom Chasse, "but until then, we can take a long lap down Great Divide to Down the Hatch and Vagabond to check out the new lift. We hope you’ll enjoy seeing all the work that's been done back there. It's a tremendous new addition to Schweitzer's history and we're glad you're here to be a part of it."
Please respect all ropes and closures and remember that early season conditions exist out on the mountain so please keep an eye out of unmarked obstacles and ski & ride with caution.

Continue to check in with us for updates on conditions and additional terrain!
