Granby Ranch is a family-friendly, family-owned resort nestled in the heart of Grand County, Colorado. Each side of the resort offers different terrain, from gentle greens and blues on East Mountain to challenging blues, blacks, and glades on West Mountain. Enjoy views of the Continental Divide from the Vista Ridge overlook, a great selection of food and drinks, and uncrowded slopes.
The ski resort is located 90 miles west of Denver. You will need to rent a car from Denver International Airport or the Denver area to get to this resort. You can also take the Amtrak train from Union Station to Granby, and then take the Granby Connect to the resort.
There are multiple terrain parks between both East and West. Granby offers night skiing in the winter and twilight skiing in the spring. The resort features two Nordic trail networks, one on East Mountain and one at the golf course for cross-country skiers.
Granby Ranch is one of the best ski resorts to learn to ski in Colorado. Children ages 5 and under can ski for free, active duty military get free season passes, and students in the local school district can enjoy free skiing on Fridays. Private and group lessons with rentals are available. During the summer there is live music every Wednesday and you can go hiking and biking on the mountain.
