I expected ice but found very little. It was dust on crust in areas but softer snow in many places. It ended up being a fun day, because I kept expectations low. However, not a lot of the ungroomed upper runs were open.

Blue sky day at Copper! Groomed trails are enjoyable but a little hard in some spots. Overall a beautiful fun day

Amazing snow all day. Weather app says none. Nice snow limiting the impact of all the ice. Get it while it’s great.

Beautiful blue sky at Copper today! Now for the skiing…runs that don’t have snowmaking are mighty thin coverage. Since there’s not enough depth to groom, even some greens are bump runs now (so be careful). To be fair, Copper is doing a great job with what Mother Nature gave them!!

Lots of runs are thin and icy, but there are a few good runs under Super Bee.
