Snow Reporter Comments: ** SELECT THE SNOW SUMMIT OR BEAR MOUNTAIN TAB FOR THE CORRESPONDING MESSAGE **Last updated: Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 9PM ptSnow Valley is open today for snow play, snow tubing, and scenic Sky Chair rides. Hours vary by activity. Limited food venues and sports shops will be available. The storm we experienced this past week did not deliver as much snow as we had hoped. However, we woke up this morning to at least one inch of fresh snow, and a significant amount of snowmaking was completed overnight. At this time, we have a solid snowpack in the tubing and snowplay areas, allowing us to continue daily operations as planned. Unfortunately, coverage from top to bottom is still not sufficient to open the ski slopes. The hill has 12-24" of snow base depth, located mainly near Coyote Creek Tube Park.We will continue to maximize snowmaking opportunities as temperatures allow, with the goal of reaching our targeted ski and snowboarding opening date of January 3 next week. Snow Valley is not yet open for skiing and snowboarding. Unfortunately, this week’s storm did not bring any new snowfall, and overnight temperatures were not ideal for snowmaking. Lift tickets and other products are currently being sold for January 3; however, it is unlikely that we will be able to meet that new targeted date. Please check back regularly for updates, as all plans are subject to change. If the resort does not open on a date for which tickets have already been purchased, guests will be contacted directly and given the option to select a different date. Please note that additional charges may apply, as pricing varies by resort and operating date.We will share more information as soon as it becomes available.
