Last updated: Wednesday, February 11, 6:38AMSnowfall is here! It is currently snowing from top to bottom at Snow Valley this morning. We're at 1/4" up at the top. Check live webcams.Last updated: Wednesday, February 11, 6:20AMAt Snow Valley, BensWeather.com, our local meteorologist, is forecasting a southerly flow to advect warmer air into this system, pushing the snow level up around 7,000 feet through today. Cooler air will filter into the region later in the day, bringing the snow level back down to around 6,000 feet. Unfortunately, most of the heavier precipitation will have already moved through by then, leaving only light accumulations, where a dusting to an inch or two is possible. Expect rain through this morning, turning showery by afternoonwith a few thunderstorms possible. Showers will taper off tonight with clearing skies through Thursday.Highs will remain in the 40s with overnight lows generally in the 20s. Fair and a little warmer weather can be expected through Saturday as a transitional ridge builds across the region. Our next major series of storms is forecast to arrive on Sunday with snow, possibly heavy at times early next week. This should be a much colder series of storms with the snow level falling as low as 3,000-4,000 feet. Very preliminary estimates are advertising around a foot or more of snow, though confidence is still low this far out.Winter looks ready to return just in time for a big holiday stretch with President’s Weekend, Valentine’s Day, and Ski Week right around the corner. Conditions on the hills are spring-like conditions with thin coverage but lots of park features to keep up the fun.Even though the Eagle Flats trail has scaled back to five (5) terrain park features, there’s no shortage of alpine fun. Dial in smooth park laps on classic features like the Long n Low press box and the Corrugated tube near the bottom of the run. When you ride into the base area, hop back on Chair 13 to keep the park lap session going.TODAY'S OPERATIONSChair 1: 9AM-4PMChair 2: 9AM-4PMChair 6: ClosedChair 13: 9AM-4PMMC 16 (public): ClosedTrailsEagle FlatsThe EDGEEast BowlThunder MountainTicket Windows, Rental Shop, Security, Tuning & Repair: 8:30AM–4:30PMRetail Shops: 8:30AM-4PMAdventure Academy: 8:30AM–4PMSnow Play*: 9AM-4PMSnow Tubing: 10AM–3:30PMDining:Thunder Mountain BBQ: 8AM-4PM (food) and 11AM-4PM (bar)FEW DAYS LEFT FOR PASS HOLDERS TO SAVE 50% FOR THEIR FRIENDSFor a limited time, 25/26 Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, BBMR Anytime, and Snow Valley Anytime pass holders can score 50% off (regularly 25%) Friends & Family lift tickets for any date the rest of the season when you purchase by February 13.
