The 20/21 season is just about done, this Friday, Saturday & Sunday will be our last days of operation. In true ‘Baldy Fashion,’ we will squeeze every last bit out of the season as possible. The forecast calls for warm temps and spring shredding.
Closing Weekend at Mt Baldy is a bit different than any other day at Mt Baldy. Springtime visitors at Mt Baldy are used to the ride up and down Chair #1 without skis on, closing weekend we take it one step further. The snow in the Gulch is typically the first to go, but the juice on Thunder Mountain is still worth the squeeze. Expect to take your board or skis off and walk portions of the Gulch to get to the goods. Chair #2 will not operate until 3 pm to bring you back to the Top of the Notch, where another walk from the top of Chair #2 will be waiting for you. Don’t let all this talk of walking discourage you. Closing Weekend at Mt Baldy is an institution, every season is a bit different than last and always a good time.
Annual Passes are now on sale for everyone at the renewal rate through May 31. If your the type of person that is obsessed with getting a deal then renew yours NOW and use it to join us for closing weekend.
