Snow Reporter Comments
aAs the upper low swings into SoCal today high increasing cloud cover will take place as the high for the day reaches out to 38F with a variable wind up to 8mph. A slight chance of afternoon thunder as far North as Tuolumne County may show face this afternoon from the southern influence. Friday looks to crest at 41F for the high before some snowy weather returns Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning. 3-6″ at pass levels is projected so here at the resort I’ll stretch and say 3-5″ based off trajectory and orographic lift for our area. Another weak system may show face come Monday but I’ll give that another day or to before we dig into that event. Coverage is great out on the hill with 100% terrain open so get out and ski/ride and enjoy the Pure Mtn Fun ethos!
Hey Good People!
The final day of February is here and with sunny skies ahead for the day coupled with a high of 36F it’s looking like a stellar day for skiing & riding out on the hill. Winds today will be out of the ENE in the upper teens with some gusting into the upper 20’s. Clear skies and dry weather continue as March arrives tomorrow with some disturbance in the force around the 6th or 7th which looks to bring snow to the area. The Euro model runs favor snowfall where the GFS is still out on that call. Stay tuned this week to see updates which should be a bit more inline by Wednesday. Coverage is great out on the hill with 100% terrain open so get out and ski/ride and enjoy the Pure Mtn Fun ethos!
Stay tuned……..
Make sure to follow California guidelines and our area COVID-19 safe practices. Check out our webpage for more info, stay safe, remember to keep 6ft of distancing and wear a mask while here at the resort.
Cheers,
Mattly
