Overview
Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a ski area located in British Columbia, Canada, just outside of the town of Revelstoke. The ski area is located approximately 120 miles from Kelowna International Airport, which offers direct flights from Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. Revelstoke Mountain is the only resort in the world offering lift, cat, heli and backcountry skiing from one village base.

Revelstoke ski resort is two and a half hours from Kelowna Airport and four and a half hours from Calgary, which is serviced by many national and international flights. From other locations, it’s two and half hours from Kamloops, six hours from Spokane, Washington, and seven hours from Vancouver, Canada.

This BC ski area offers 5,620 feet of vertical (the greatest vertical in North America), and the longest run is 9.5 miles, dropping from the top of Mount Mackenzie (summit elevation 8,058 feet) to a bustling base village. Bottom elevation is 1,680 feet, and the resort is serviced by 5 lifts, including an 8-passenger, high-speed gondola. The lift top elevation is 7,300 feet with lift-access vertical at 5,630 feet.
The terrain includes four alpine bowls: South Bowl, North Bowl, Powder Assault and Greely Bowl. Revelstoke Mountain Resort provides 3,121 acres of skiable terrain spread out over glades, high alpine bowls, fall line skiing and groomed terrain: 12% beginner, 43% intermediate and 45% advanced. On average, the ski resort receives 413 inches per year, and there are 75 runs.
Popular summer activities at this year-round resort include downhill mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, golfing and glacier heli tours. Other activities include the Pipe Mountain Coaster, the Aerial Adventure Park and whitewater rafting.
Sutton Palace Hotel offers ski-in, ski-out accommodations and an outdoor spa. While bluebird days are rare, the ski resort receives a large quantity of quality snow each year. You can even get chartered planes to Revelstoke.
