Unfortunately given the changing media landscape, Mountain News Corporation has experienced financial declines in recent years. With additional economic challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic now facing our business, it is not financially viable to continue operating.

Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Beautiful Wednesday day for the groomed runs. Off piste is hard and frozen. Head for the backside to enjoy the corduroy in the sun before it gets skied out. Then try Kehrs chair in the afternoon when it finally gets sun.

Beautiful sunny day. Snow is in great shape. Off piste is firm but not completely frozen. Back was closed until 1030am for aerial avalanche control. Grooming was excellent.

Snow was still in good shape for night skiing. Very little fog and no lift lines. Kehrs and Tye Mill were open! Some fluffy snow left but not much. Very good coverage.
