Snow Reporter Comments: March 10th, 1:44 PMGood afternoon riders and skiers! First spring has sprung! Today is the pick of the week for spring conditions with bluebird skies and temps climbing into the low 60's at the base and low 50's at the summit. Saddle up your steed of choice, slap on your sunnies, and join us for these spring conditions while we've got them, as colder temps and more wintery conditions are expected to clock back in this weekend. With temps staying above freezing tonight our ability for grooming will be limited. Many trails will remain ungroomed, so expect variable conditions, with a mix of loose and frozen granular first thing this morning. However, surfaces will quickly soften to corn snow as temps climb into the 60's this afternoon.  We'll be getting down on 480 skiable acres with 12 lifts, and 15 of 109 open trails groomed. Operations are regular weekday hours with GMX kicking things off at 8:00 AM. North Ridge Express will be closed today and tomorrow for maintenance as the lift ops crew diligently works to remedy an electrical problem on the tower monitoring circuits with the manufacturer.  All other lifts spin at 9:00 AM. Slide Brook Express will be closed tomorrow due to a lack of snow on the evacuation roads.   Inverness will be reserved for race training today. Brambles will be open to the public. The legendary Sugarbush Parks crew continues to deliver, at Mt. Ellen you’ll find over 80 of the finest features on Riemergasse. At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke has 18 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is home to 7 beginner freestyle elements. Sugar Run was stripped of its features and the upper half will remain open as a groomed trail today in the name of snow preservation. Riemergasse will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for a rebuild and reset for a Friday opening.  There's plenty of fun to be had both on and off the hill this winter, so check out all our winter events. Get ready for an all-out showdown on the gnarliest terrain Sugarbush has to offer! The Castlerock Extreme is back, March 14th, we're calling on bold skiers and riders to conquer the iconic Lift Line. Think you’ve got what it takes? This is where legends are made. All Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen uphill routes are currently open. Please review our Uphill Travel Policy for full details.
