Snow Reporter Comments: April 21st, 6:15 AMGood morning riders and skiers! Morning sunshine, the sound of the song sparrow, and a fresh winch groom down Stein's are your call to action today. Temps are currently in the mid 20's and projected to climb into the low 40's by the afternoon. Yesterday's snow and colder overnight temps allowed our grooming team to patch up bare spots and lay a fresh cord on all 6 opened trails.  Expect machine-groomed terrain to soften as the sun does its work, while ungroomed edges will offer variable and frozen granular conditions.  Thin cover means bare spots and obstacles are now hidden beneath a shallow layer of yesterday's fresh snow, so please take it slow until you know. Today we're getting down on 40 acres off of Valley House with all 6 of 6 open trails groomed. Valley House spins 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM midweek and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on weekends. Weather permitting, our plan is to remain open daily through April 26th and reopen for a final weekend May 2nd and 3rd.  Warmer weather returns later this week, with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shaping up for another round of spring skiing and prime parking-lot après vibes.Join us during Love Your Mountain Week as part of an Earth Day celebration.
