Snow Reporter Comments: April 1st, 12:40 PMHappy April riders and skiers!  Spring is not fooling around here. The forecast calls for cloudy skies with light showers tapering off by mid-morning. Temps have settled into the low 30's up top and upper 30's at the base.  Saddle up your moisture wicking gear and join the mid-week magic, looking forward to spring conditions and low skier-traffic.  Temps stayed above freezing overnight, which limited our grooming to beginner trails off the Gatehouse side and select trails on the Gadd Peak side of things with wet granular and spring conditions expected around the mountain. Come enjoy a fresh groom on fan favorites Jester and Birch Run.  Please use caution on natural and ungroomed terrain as surfaces remain frozen and cover is becoming thin in areas. We’ll be getting down on 175 skiable acres with 6 scheduled lifts and 13 of 37 trails groomed. Operations have moved to weekday Spring hours, with all scheduled lifts opening at 10:00 AM. Spring hours are: 10:00–5:00 on weekdays and 9:00–5:00 on weekends. The Parks crew still has you covered. At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke is ripping with 14 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is set with 7 beginner‑friendly elements. There’s still plenty of fun to be had as we wrap up the season. Join us April 4th, from 11:00 - 2:00 PM, to take the plunge across a 100-foot pond at the base of Lincoln Peak. Whether you get wet or spectate from the crowd, be sure to participate in this Annual Rite of Spring. If you’re already looking ahead to next winter, you’re in luck: season passes for next season are officially on sale. Now’s the perfect time to lock in the best deals and start dreaming about another year on the mountain. Check out all the sweet pass options and perks, we’ve got something for every type of rider. All Lincoln Peak uphill routes are currently open. The Mt. Ellen uphill route is currently open, but climbing conditions are challenging and you'll encounter a few open water bars.
