Snow Reporter Comments: December 8, 6:20 AMMore snow? Yes please! We've received 5" of light fluffy powder overnight, get it before it's gone. Today we'll be skiing and riding on 38 trails off 4 lifts with over 160 skiable acres. Plus, Castlerock is officially open for hiking starting 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, earlier this week we dropped ropes on Paradise, Ripcord, and Lower Ripcord among others. Natural terrain will be great early morning choices, get those turns before there gone. Please use caution on natural terrain, our new snow is paired with a minimal base. Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate will be back to 9:00 AM this morning, as well as Gate House Quad and Welcome Mat at 9:00 AM. Groomers have done a beautiful job creating a top to bottom roue, totaling 18 groomed trails across the mountain. Temps have dropped, expect teens at the base and single digits at the summit, creating a firm base topped with fresh powder. Reminder that Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate terrain continues to be for advanced skiers and riders at this time and please be aware of thin conditions on natural trails. Mt. Ellen hike park is back open with 20 beautiful features, starting at 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM for passholders. More good news?
