The countdown is officially on, as we've already received an inch of new snow, and all signs are pointing toward a legitimate powder day ahead. Snow showers are expected to carry through the night, yielding 6 to 10 inches of fresh snow! Temperatures tomorrow will rise slightly, settling into upper singles digits to low teens at the summit and upper teens to low 20s at the base. Expect cloudy skies with snow showers continuing throughout the day. Start packing your bags, wax those boards, tune those skis, and clear the schedule. This is shaping up to be one of those days you don’t want to miss.Tomorrow we’ll be getting down on 484 acres, served by 13 lifts and 111 open trails, with 46 trails freshly groomed overnight. Look forward to enjoying beautiful groomers topped with fresh snow alongside powdery conditions throughout the mountain. Due to cold temperatures, Slide Brook will not be operating today, but is scheduled for operation tomorrow. All natural terrain is recommended for experts only, as conditions remain variable. If the cold isn’t your cup of tea, Sugarbush offers plenty of alternative activities. Warm up with a cozy meal at one of our many on‑resort restaurants, or head over to the SHARC for a variety of indoor activities. Today, the trail Inverness will be closed to the public for racing events.Operations are moving back to weekday hours. GMX kicks things off with an 8:00 AM load, followed by all other scheduled lifts at 9:00 AM, with the exception of Slide Brook at 10:00 AM. Sugarbush continues to deliver freestyle fun for all levels. At Mt. Ellen, you’ll find over 80 features on Riemergasse and another 27 features on Sugar Run, all served by the iconic Sunny Quad. At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke has been refreshed with 10 new features, with more on the way, and 7 creative features remain on Sugarbear Forest. Play Blizzard Bingo all month long! As part of NSAA Safety Month, ski, ride, and learn across Sugarbush throughout January. Stop by the Creation Station, located across from Guest Services at Lincoln Peak or Mt. Ellen, to create your safety-themed poster.
