Snow Reporter Comments: December 29th, 1:47 PMGood afternoon skiers and riders, and happy holidays! Today has been an absolute blast filled with great skiing and even better vibes. Tomorrow's forecast is a wild one, we're expecting .25-.40" of freezing rain this evening which could linger into the day. These weather conditions could affect lift operations in the morning. Temps will rise in the morning to mid-high 30's at both the base and summit. Conditions will be variable across the mountain in the morning but should soften throughout the day. All snowmaking will be turning off until Monday evening, snowmaking whales will be getting pushed out.We will be getting down on 403 skiable acres served by 12 lifts and 94 open trails, with 38 of those being freshly groomed. North Lynx and Castlerock terrain will be closed tomorrow in efforts of snow preservation. All natural terrain will be assessed in the morning for conditions and safety, stay tuned for any additional closures.Operations are in holiday hours, which means GMX, Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate will get the party started at 8:00 AM. Followed by all other scheduled lifts at 9:00 AM. The Sugarbush Parks crew has assembled a bumping freestyle setup at Mt. Ellen with 15 features and 2 jumps. Plus, Slowpoke at Lincoln Peak is home to 4 features, and newly installed side hits! Parks crew has added a few side hit features on Sugarbear Forest as a bonus!
