Snow Reporter Comments: December 29th, 2:15 PM*Summit lift is delayed due to icing**There’s a tractor-trailer issue at the bottom of Sugarbush Access Road. We recommend using German Flats Road as an alternate route*Good afternoon skiers and riders, and happy holidays! Tomorrow's we'll see another thaw - freeze cycle locking everything up, but good news, we are expecting 1-3" overnight and snow showers will carry into the day for another 1-2". Temps are going to drop drastically, we're looking at mid-low teen's at the base and single digits to negatives at the summit. Get ready for some firm and fast groomers tomorrow, along with variable conditions as fresh snow will top frozen surfaces. Snowmaking will be turning back on tonight, firing on Ripcord and Sugar Run.We have over 200 skiable acres served by 12 lifts and 40 open trails, with 34 of those being freshly groomed. All natural terrain is closed today in efforts of snow preservation, and will be reassessed in the morning. Visibility will be low in areas of the mountain due to fog, use caution and go slow. Today’s a perfect day to explore one (or more!) of our five dining options open at Lincoln Peak today. From warm hearty soups to crisp cold beers, we’ve got something for everyone.Operations are in holiday hours, which means GMX, Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate will get the party started at 8:00 AM. Followed by all other scheduled lifts at 9:00 AM. The Sugarbush Parks crew has assembled a bumping freestyle setup at Mt. Ellen with 15 features and 2 jumps. Plus, Slowpoke and Sugarbear Forest at Lincoln Peak are home to 13 total features, and newly installed side hits! Join us Dec 24th - Jan 1st, for our Holiday Week at Sugarbush, filled with skiing, riding, and festive events for the whole family.
