Snow Reporter Comments: December 26th, 1:40 PMGood afternoon skiers and riders, and happy holidays! It's been a spectacular few days of snow filled skiing and riding here at Sugarbush, but don't worry there's plenty left to go around. We've picked up another few inches of windblown snow in the past 24hrs and expect light showers tonight. Tomorrows forecast calls for a slight rise in temperatures, expect mid to low 20's at the base and mid to low teens at the summit. Look forward to dancing on 38 machine groomed runs, paired with packed powder conditions on natural terrain throughout the mountain. Snowmaking will be finishing up on Racer's Edge and Lower Snowball and moving over towards Stein's tonight. Cruiser, Riemergasse, and the Times Square area at Mt. Ellen will continue snowmaking. Saddle up your sleighs, we’re expecting several snowy days during the holiday week, which could bring over 12 inches of fresh snow as we head into the New Year!We will be getting down on 460 skiable acres served by 12 lifts and 106 open trails. Ropes have dropped on loads of natural terrain, please use caution as coverage is thin and suggested for experts only. Hiking for North Lynx is open from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM today. Plus, Castlerock lift will be spinning 9:00 AM- 3:45 PM. Whether you're looking for easy laid-back groomers or leg burning moguls, we've got it all. Operations have shifted to holiday hours, which means GMX, Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate will get the party started at 8:00 AM. Followed by all other scheduled lifts at 9:00 AM. The Sugarbush Parks crew has assembled a bumping freestyle setup at Mt. Ellen with 15 features and 2 jumps. Plus, Slowpoke at Lincoln Peak is home to 4 features, with more being added to Sugarbear Forest this evening! Join us Dec 24th - Jan 1st, for our Holiday Week at Sugarbush, filled with skiing, riding, and festive events for the whole family.
